Julia Tymoshenko sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment
Judge Radzivon Kireeu pronounced this sentence.
The ex-Prime Minister is also prohibited to work at any state positions for three years, reports UNIAN. During pronouncement of the sentence, Tymoshenko said that the judge "deprived Ukraine from freedom" by such sentence.
Let us remind you, Tymoshenko was accused of excessing the powers and ignorance of the state interests when signing gas contracts with Russia in 2009.
