The Ukrainian consul brought FEMEN activists back to Kiev at 6 a.m. The leader of the movement Ganna Gutsol was the first person who hugged the girls – before their parents and boyfriends. Inna Shevchenko explains that they went to her flat before returning home.
Inna Shevchenko: “Our friends, colleagues and leader Ganna Gustol met us”.

She has described her personal life secrets and relationship with men.

Inna Shevchenko: “I am not married – there are people who support and love me. However, I try to avoid any close relationship at the moment. I have different goals now – I want to spend the time on different things. But there are young men who help me and who like me. Sometimes it can result in a relationship”.

It has turned out that Inna used to work for the press service of Kiev administration. However, her membership in FEMEN defeated her administrative carrier. Now she is the organization person of the women’s movement and gets paid there. She never misses topless actions. She has confessed that it shocked her parents.

Inna Shevchenko: “The phrase “Quit FEMEN” was pronounced by my mother many times – she was shocked at the changes in my life and at the fact that I had left Kiev administration. However, my parents understood that it was no use struggling with me a year later. It was my choice and I could not imagine myself doing something else. My parents have always been worried about me and many people and relatives reacted in a negative way. But they support me now”.

Anyway, it was her mother’s voice that made the girl cry during her adventures in Belarus.

Inna Shevchenko: “I phoned my mother from the village of Beki and she said: “I thought you were dead”. Then I started crying because I understood what my mother felt”.

Inna Shevchenko: “I phoned my mother from the village of Beki and she said: “I thought you were dead”. Then I started crying because I understood what my mother felt”.

However, she did not find a minute to phone her parents in Kiev – her colleagues, interviews and a briefing took a lot of time. Even during the interview with Euroradio she was more inclined to describe the movemnt, plans for the future and her colleagues’ mood rather than her personal life. She joked. Answering the question: “What dishes do you like and what a man should do to please you?”, - she cut it short:

Inna Shevchenko: “Bring a plate of vareniks and a lily and we will meet!”

The action in Belarus was not her first action. It wasn’t Oksana Shachko’s first action either. However, it was the first action that made her worry about her life. That is why the first thing she did when she entered her flat was: “I stayed alive and I felt comfortable about it”.

According to Oksana Shachko’s boyfriend Kostsya, she returned home “exhausted” and could not even put off her clothes herself.

Kostsya: “She was so baggy and covered with some feathers… I helped her put off her clothes, she took a shower and we went to bed – she was really exhausted”.

She behaved as if she were still in danger the next day.

Kostsya: “She is suffering from the persecution mania and it seems to her that KGB members are everywhere. You cannot even touch her – she gives a start. I hope she will calm down in a month”.

The guy is a sculptor. Oksana is an artist, she sells her paintings. Kostsya refused to comment on Oksana’s talent and mentioned that he was not involved in politics at all.

Kostsya: “I used to be very nervous at first. Then I got used to it. I can see that it is her self-actualization. She enjoys such situations in some way. Oksana has taken part in the majority of extreme actions – climbing a police bus to shout, climbing the TSUM. Oksana likes such actions”.

However, it is rather difficult to create a family with such a person.

Kostsya: “Ksyusha is a spitfire. We quarrel so often that we have announced to everyone that we are just friends. Because everything may be okay for three days and then: ‘”We are breaking up!” Then it starts again. It has been happening for a long time and it is interesting!

But it was Kostsya who reassured Oksana’s mother when she disappeared in Belarus. He calls her a heroine because she can put up with her daughter’s behaviour when everyone else condemns topless actions. She watched a musical channel on the night of December 20 to avoid any news programmes that could report something bad about her daughter’s fate.

Kostsya is sure: the incident will not make Oksana leave FEMEN, she will take part in their next action in our country. And he will not try to talk her out of it. However, he has confessed that Oksana’s activities prevent him from proposing to her and creating a family.
