Penza recluses keep vow of silence
Penza Region authorities have refuted the information about infectious diseases found in the recluses. "In connection with the information about pulmonary infections found in the recluses who have left the earth-houses distributed by a number of mass media, we officially refute the information”, - said the vice-governor of Penza Region Oleg Melnichenko in an interview with “Interfax-Povolzhye”.
"Doctors are examining those who have left the earth-houses. No infections or lung diseases have been discovered in the former recluses yet”, - he noted.
O.Melnichenko has also informed that the condition of the leader of the recluses Pyotr Kuznetsov was considered to be satisfactory. “He comes to his senses once in a while and starts praying”, - said O.Melnichenko.
There has been no caving-in in the earth-houses since yesterday. The police and the Ministry of Emergency Control are working near the cave according to their usual schedule.
Let us remind you that 35 sectarians entered the earth-house in the village of Mikolskoye, Bekovski District in November 2007 to wait for “the end of the world”.
