Opposition to nominate candidates on March 2
The United Pro-Democracy Forces' (UDF) political council is expected on March 2 to approve the final list of nominees to take part in the parliamentary elections, UDF co-chairman Anatol Lyabedzka said in a statement.
He said that the nominees for at least 90-95 percent of constituencies would have been approved by this date.
On February 10, the political council of the UDF voted for a preliminary list of election nominees. The list included 59 candidates. Lyabedzka noted that 25 additional nominees were picked at the level of regional coalitions, reports Belapan.
