On 15 December, Naviband who represented Belarus at the 2017 Eurovision contest performed at the concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of KGB at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk, reports Belsat.

Photos from the concert appeared on social media but the faces of the Naviband artists could not be seen.

Social media users were left divided by this information, with some outraged that the musicians performed for the secret service and some approving the fact that KGB officers prefer a Belarusian-language band over pro-Russian singers like Victor Kalina.
