Lukashenka: We need to cut excessive construction

There is a need to reduce the number of construction projects and obkects that are not vital, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said when on working visit to the Vitsebsk region on July 9.

According to Lukashenka, large-scale projects were launched some time back and a sufficient number of educational medical and other institutions were built. Next year, only absolutely vital objects will be constructed.
Vitsebsk Mayor Alyaksandr Kosinets ordered last year to rebuild the city center by destroying a park and replacing it with a huge square for parades, reports Belapan.
