Lukashenka: With internet, claims about no freedom of speech are ridiculous

"Belarus is often reproached for the lack of the freedom of speech," BELTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka as saying. "On the whole, it is ridiculous to claim there is no freedom of speech with Internet nowadays. Usually, sycophant people say so. They know it for sure that there's no absolute freedom in the world. The one who doesn't depend on the government, depends on the owner of the media, on advertisers, on the public's whims, and finally, on the mistakes and emotions of journalists."
