Lukashenka ends working visit to Kazakhstan

The official news agency BELTA reports that in the Kazakh capital city of Astana Aliaksandr Lukashenka took part in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. It passed several decisions to boost integration.



Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia plan to form the Eurasian Economic Union by January 1, 2015. The heads of state will receive the relevant drafts by May 1, 2014.



The presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine were also invited to attend the Astana summt. The customs "troika" of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia decided to grant an observer status to these two nations in the future Eurasian Economic Union. Meanwhile, representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine will be able to take part in the meetings of Common Economic Space bodies without the voting rights.
