Killer caught thanks to missing flicker

A killer wanted by Interpol for three years was arrested in the Polatsk district, northern Belarus. The man was detained by a police road patrol in the village of Vetryna, when he was walking down the street. Officers wanted to fine the man for the absence of a light-reflecting flicker, however no identification was found on him.

The man was taken to the local police department where he was immediately identified as the one wanted for murdering a deaf old man in the Miory district, writes Komsomoslkaya Pravda v Belarusi.

The 37-year-old murderer is facing 25 years in prison or life sentence or death penalty, reports ONT.
