Hungarian Foreign Minister stands for sanctions
Janos Martonyi, the Foreign Minister of Hungary, which is now presiding in the European Union, stands for introducing sanctions against the Belarusian regime.
At the same time, he has not excluded the possibility of Belarus' participation in the "Eastern Partnership" summit yet, informs IA Regnum.
"Personally, I stand for the sanctions, but these sanctions should only cover the regime's representatives, not ordinary citizens", - stated Martonyi. he underlined that he was "distressed and shocked" by the events in Minsk after the presidential election on December 19.
Speaking about the "Eastern Partnership" the Minister reminded that two years ago Belarus had participeted in the summit, but not at the highest level. "We need to find a flexible decision of this issue", - he said.
