Harder to enter Internet café in Belarus rather than in China

A journalist of an Internet edition ‘”Solidarity” tried to enter a few Minsk Internet cafes without a passport. Then she came to the conclusion that the terms of entering Internet cafes in Belarus were stricter than in China.
Let us remind you that regulation of the national Internet segment was introduced in the country on July 1.  Now you can enter an Internet cafe only if you have your ID on you.

The Chinese authorities demand that users should tell their names and surnames before entering an Internet café in China. Who said they should be true? There will be problems only if the Internet police raid the café and start checking the data in the registration book and visitors IDs.

A reporter of “Solidarity” tried to enter a few Internet cafes using the Chinese rules but she was not allowed to do it. The administration detained her near the entrance when she had no documents on her.
