Government approves small-size business stimulus program
The Belarusian government has approved a stimulus program for small-size businesses in 2009. Over Br6.5 billion are earmarked for the implementation of the program in the national budget. The money will be used to fund investment projects, new jobs in the small-size and medium-size towns. According to the press office of the Council of Ministers, "the program for 2009 envisages the further creation of favorable conditions for sustainable development of small-size businesses", reports Belapan.
