Floods cause cholera in Pakistan

The heaviest rains in the past 80 years have caused a humanitarian catastrophe in Pakistan. The UN has claimed that the situation in the country is worse than the situation after the tsunami in 2004, the first cases of cholera have already been registered. The authorities cannot cope with the situation. The army sent to render assistance is unable to do it.

The flood has already killed almost 200 people. More than 1.5 millions have remained homeless and there are 14 million people affected by it, reports “Observer”.
