Evacuation of Belarusians from Gaza Strip has started

The evacuation of Belarusians together with citizens of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan from the Gaza Strip has started.
The Russian Ambassador to the Palestinian autonomy Alexei Pogodin informed about it. The Belarusian consul to Israel Syarhei Palahin noted that only one Belarusian woman with two children decided to leave.

The Embassy talked to 14 Belarusians – 4 women and 10 children. Only one woman decided to leave the Gaza Strip with her children and her name was added on the evacuation list. People wishing to leave are gathering at the Erets check-point at the moment. The refugees will be delivered to Jordan and then they will board a Russian rescuer’s plane.

We would like to remind you that the first seven Belarusian citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Control arrived in Minsk on June 22.
