Belarusian trolley buses to appear in Smolensk

Smolensk city council and Minsk plant “Belkamunmash” have signed a protocol of expectancies. Smolensk authorities want to solve the problem of city transport with the help of Belarusians.
It is planned that so-called hybrid trolleybuses will be bought during the first stage of the realization of the programme. Smolenkers were attracted by the fact that Minsk trolleybuses were able to ride 5 kilometers disconnected from the grid.
