Belarusian deputies to take part in winter session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna

A Belarusian delegation headed by the deputy head of the House of Representatives Syarhei Zabalotski will take part in the winter session of the OCSE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna on February 21 and 22.
The press service of the lower chamber of the Parliament informed about it. The Belarusian delegation is planning to conduct bilateral meetings with parliamentary delegations of a number of countries and the administration of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly during the session.

Almost 240 parliamentarians from 49 countries will take part in the seventh annual winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Meetings of the standing committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE and committees on political issues and security, economic issues, science, technology and environment, democracy, human rights and humanitarian issues are planned to take place.

The situation in Kosovo is among the main topic on the agenda. Parliamentarians are also planning to discuss the Treaty on regular armed forces in Europe and ballistic missile defense.
