Belarusian budget

Leanid Zaika has commented on the budget adopted in the first reading.
The MPs posed just two questions to the Finance Minister presenting the 2017 budget draft. Only one MP voted against.
The budget was discussed ‘in the zero reading’ on September 21.
The raise is envisaged in the state budget draft currently being reviewed at the House of Representatives.
Belarus will borrow $1.9 billion in order to service most of the state debt in 2017.
Belarus plans to cut the budget spending by Br15 trillion - a third budget revision since the beginning of the year.
At the same time, Belarus economy is almost twice as large Estonian.
The main financial document for 2016 was approved with a surplus of 17 billion rubles.
Belarus' budget and economic forecast for 2016 will be reportedly updated to match oil prices and the dollar exchange rate.
