Woman kills 3-year-old son, stands trial today
The woman wanted to commit suicide together with her son but did not manage to fulfill her plan.
The 34-year-old Minsker who threw her 3-year-old son out of the window will stand trial in Minsk City Court on May 25, BELTA reports.
The woman is accused of killing a small child. She wanted to commit suicide with her son on January 28. However, she did not jump down after having thrown down her son who died in hospital afterwards. The tragedy occurred in Adzintsova Street, in Minsk Frunze District.
The woman decide to commit suicide due to personal problems and economic standing. She was in debt. The mother thought that her son would be left alone without hear and decided to commit suicide together with him. She drank alcohol to be braver.
The woman underwent a complex physiological expertise. She is mentally healthy, experts concluded. She could understand the danger of her actions and was able to control herself at the moment of the tragedy.
