Seller of Soviet flags attacks passer-by in Minsk (photo)

Civil activist Andrei Kim noticed the seller of Soviet flags near the trade centre Expobel. The latter explained that he was deaf and dumb.

Kim warned him that he would call the police because such trade was illegal. The young man promised to leave but stayed. When the activist started photographing him, he attacked him, Andrei Kim told Euroradio.

Kim: “I decided to photograph him but he attacked me and tried taking away my phone. I called the police and reported him.”

Kim wonders who may be using such people. There have been a few cases when deaf and dumb people were involved in selling and distributing Russian and Soviet flags in the streets recently. However, such trade is illegal.
