Yarmoshyna: 4 electoral districts are single option
The CEC Chairperson held a press-conference in Minsk and told about the results of registration of candidates for membership in the House of Representatives.
Yarmoshyna announced the summarized
numbers in the whole country. It is known already that 363 people were
registered, 9 people withdrew (it was informed about 7 before), and 122 were
denied in registration (it was previously informed about 124).

Yarmoshyna reminded that there had been 16 single option districts at the
parliamentary election-2008. Now there are 4: 1 in Brest and Hrodna regions, 2
- in Minsk. The CEC Chairperson does not exclude that the number of such
districts may change before the beginning of early voting.
The
CEC got 20 complaints from contenders who were denied registration as
candidates for deputies. The CEC will start considering them on Tuesday.
