According to leader of the steering committee for creating the party "Belarusian Movement" Victar Ivashkevich, the idea of the boycott was also supported by the independent trade union of the radio-electronic industry workers, civil initiative "European Belarus" and "representatives of most democratic parties and organizations".
On the whole, "several hundred activists" are ready to participate in the campaign, says Ivashkevich. He says that their task is to disseminate the materials about the boycott of the election among the majority of the country's population by September, informs BelaPAN.
