Hrodna inhabitant pushed into police bus with his bicycle (photo, video)

Dzyanis, participant of the action “Revolution in Social networks” has told Euroradio that he was detained when he was making a video of policemen dragging people by their arms and legs into the police bus:

"Then they surrounded me and started dragging me towards the bus. I said I had a bicycle. They told me to bring it and led me towards the bus”.

About 30 people were delivered to October District police office. Famous civil activists were among the detained: Nadzeya Krapivina, Ales Kirkevich’s (political prisoner) wife, head of Hrodna affiliate of the BPF Party Vadzim Saranchukou and leader of the United Civil Party Zmitser Bandarchuk. A reporter of the Polish radio station TOK FM Agnieszka Lichnerowicz and TVP operator Borys Czerniawski were also detained.

The journalists were released after the Polish consuls visited the police office. Policemen talked to the diplomats on the threshold – they were not allowed to enter.

Let us remind you that a concert dedicated to the youth work term was in process when participants of the action arrived in the centre of the city. “The revolutionists” turned their backs upon the stage in a pointed manner. The group of people attracted the attention of the police. They encircled the viewers not interested in the local variety art and suddenly started dragging guys and girls out of the group.
