"Chaser" coat-of-arms and white-red-white flag were state symbols in 1991

The white-red-white flag and the "Chaser" coat-of-arms remained state symbols till 1995, when Lukashenka changed them at the referendum.


Also, the BSSR Supreme Council took the decision on the change of name of the republic: the Republic of Belarus appeared instead of the Soviet Byelorussia, also on September 19, 1991.
