CEC to start considering candidates' complaints about registration refusals
More than 40 such complaints were filed to the Central Elections Committee.
On Tuesday, August 28, they
will consider the complaints which arrived from the regions (starting at 11
a.m.), apart from Minsk region, the turn of which will come on Wednesday
(starting at 10 a.m.). On Thursday, August 30, they will proceed to the
complaints from Minsk, also at 10 a.m.
Let us remind you, 363 people were registered as candidates
for members of the House of Representatives in total, 122 people got refusals, and 9 people left the electoral race.
The CEC Chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna does not exclude that the number of registered candidates may increase after consideration of complaints.
