Relatives confirm abduction of Belarusian, Moldovan women in Syria

Moldovan Karina has made the same confession. The women said that they were brought to Syria like journalists. The hostages are seen pronouncing their confession at gunpoint in the presence of people wearing camouflage and balaclavas.

There is an account belonging to Svyatlana Markiyanovich on Odnoklassniki social network, the Russian clone of Classmates. The woman resembles the hostage. According to the profile, Sviatlana Markiyanovich is 30 years old and was born in Zhodzina. Sviatlana is depicted aboard a plane on one of the photographs.

Radio Liberty has found Leanid Bydka in Moldova. He is Karina Koltsa’s brother. The woman was captured by Syrian insurgents together with Sviatlana Markiyanovich. Karina went "to work" abroad on July 25, he said. However, she phoned and told him that she had been abducted not long ago. The woman said she was abducted at her friend's and that both of them were in captivity. She also said that her whereabouts were in Syria.
