11.35 Oppositionists have reseized the Ukrainian House– a cultural centre situated not far from Maidan, UNIAN reports. Policemen are running out of the building. Some oppositionists are following them, others are restoring barricades near the building. The Ukrainian House was seized by the opposition for the first time at the end of January. Maidan protesters surrounded the building and ousted several hundred policemen back then.

11.15 Dozens of soldiers have given themselves up to Maidan self-defence, RBK-Ukraine reports. They are giving up in exchange for safety. A passage in the crowd has been created for them. They are heading for Maidan across European Square.  

11.05 The Belarusian MFA has no information about any Belarusians injured in Kiev.

The shots were probably made from the conservatoire seized by protesters earlier. Several dozen policemen have been captured. There is also information about one victim – a protester.

Policemen have brought a water-cannon and are pouring water on protesters. They are also firing back and using flash-bang grenades.

Maidan stage speakers are urging not to make a push and take positions near the barricades instead.

Protesters have seized the October Palace and are making a push in organized columns. There are about 3 thousand protesters in Intitutskaya Street.

Some protesters are fortifying barricades with tyre casings, a metal fence, sticks, casks and other things.

Protesters have seized the Independence Stele in Maidan and the October Palace, espreso.TV reports.  

Maidan stage speakers are asking protesters not to throw stones at policemen to avoid injuring the activists making a push now.

According to some sources, Maidan activists have set a water-cannon on fire.
