Prakapovich: $100 exit duty issue to be decided in a month
Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Prakapovich tells Euroradio the final decision on the proposed $100 exit duty will be in one month.
The issue of making people who want to leave the country pay $100 suggested by the Belarusian president will be decided in a month, Pyotr Prakapovich told Euroradio correspondent during a hotline news conference at Respublika newspaper. The proposal is being considered by relevant government agencies.
Pyotr Prakapovich: “There are many f nuances. We do not want the issue to affect the law-abiding citizens. The customs will be involved . If a person leaves the country 50 times a year and brings back 50 refrigerators, it is clear that he does not do it for himself.”
