Photo fact: Globes with ‘Russian’ Crimea sold in Mahilyou
Globes where Crimea is a Russian territory are up for sale in a Mahilyou department store. The peninsula is the same colour as Russia and there is a line separating it from Ukraine.
The globes were made in Russia and Poland. A Polish globe with ‘Russian’ Crimea costs Br796 500.
Crimea was annexed by Russia two years ago, in March 2014. The whole world considers Crimea to be an occupied territory.
