Merkel tells Putin to pull troops out of Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel had a phone conversation on Monday.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel gave Putin to understand that a full removal of Russian troops from East Ukraine and safety at the Russian-Ukrainian border were the decisive factors for settling the conflict, RBK quotes State Secretary Steffen Seibert.
The two state leaders discussed the details of the peace plan for East Ukraine and the agreements signed in Minsk on September 5, Seibert said.
