Lukashenka, Putin speak by phone
On October 7, Aliaksandr Lukashenka had a telephone conversation with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, press service of the Belarusian president reports.
The two leaders briefly discussed some topical issues of the bilateral agenda, cooperation in integration associations.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka also congratulated Vladimir Putin on his birthday.
Yesterday, the Belarusian president refuted allegations that a Russian military air base would be deployed in Belarus. However, Vladimir Putin had previously signed a decree to begin negotiations with Belarus on a Russian air base.
