Investigation Committee: Luninets building collapsed due to blast (photo)
The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. on August 26. One person was killed and two people are in hospital.
The building collapsed during repair works in the buildings site of a heat and power plant, the Investigation Committee reports. The construction has not been finished and the building has not been put in commission yet.
The criminal laboratory of the investigation committee is working on the spot now. Rescuers and experts in blasting assemblies have joined the investigation too. A criminal case for ‘violation of work safety regulations’ has been started, BELTA reports.
