Gazprom plans to invest up to 3.6 billion dollars in Belarus

The Russian company Gazprom is going to invest about 2-2.5 billion dollars in the development of our country’s gas and transport system and about 1.1 billion dollars – in the increase of the capacity of underground gas storages. The information can be found in the papers prepared for the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State that will be held in Moscow on March 3, RIA Novosti reports.

Gazprom is the owner of the Belarusian part of the gas pipe Yamal-Europe that is more than 575 km long.
