Foreigners can visit Białowieża Forest without visas now

As of June 12, foreign tourists can visit Białowieża Forest without visas. However, they will be allowed to stay in the park for only three days. The visa-free regime is in force only at the check-point Perarou-Belavezha.

Foreigners have to register on the website of the national park and then they will get a pass by e-mail. The pass needs to be printed out, BELTA notes. The document can be presented together with the passport at the border and it will allow foreign citizens to visits Białowieża Forest.

Travel agencies need to reserve a tour first and then register its participants.

A group of 30 Polish tourists will visit the national park today.
