Dzyady manifestation takes place in Minsk (video)
Hundreds take part in traditional Dzyady rally to commemorate the dead. The demonstration was authorized by City Hall and organized by the BPF party.
People will gather near Minsk watch plant at 10.30 a.m. The column will start walking at 11 a.m. and reach Kurapaty by 14.30 p.m. A meeting will start there. Minsk City Executive Committee has allowed finishing the event by 7 p.m. but it will end much earlier, Belenki said.
Up to 5000 people are allowed to participate. Judging by the last six years, 80% of the participants are young people, Belenki noted.
Moreover, political activists applied for a manifestation to Loshystki Yar on November 10 as Stalinists repressions victims are also buried there.
