Detentions near Taras Shevchenko monument in Minsk
People are reporting it in social networks.
People were arrested near the monument to Taras Shevchenko situated near the Ukrainian Embassy at about 10 p.m. on January 22. They gathered to commemorate Belarusian Sky Hundred hero Mihail Zhyzneuski and other Ukrainian heroes on the anniversary of Maidan shooting.
Volha Nikalaichyk, Nina Bahinskaya, Ales Makayeu, Yauhen Batura, Maksim Vinyarski and others were detained (from 10 to 15 people). The detained were delivered to Minsk Central District Department of the Interior.
