Def Leppard cancels Minsk concert

The British rock band Def Leppard has cancelled their concert in Minsk due to logistic problems. The organizers do not know what exactly has made the musicians refuse from the concert in Minsk and they are waiting for the band managers’ official reply, onliner.by reports.

The Britons were supposed to start the first part of their European tour in Minsk. The concert had to be held in Minsk Palace of Sport on May 15. The tickets were selling pretty well, the organizers say.

The tour will start in Vilnius on May 17. Minskers will be able to get a refund from April 27 until May 30.

It is not the first world star’s concert cancellation in Minsk caused by ‘logistic problems’. Bryan Adams refused to visit Belarus on March because he was afraid of queuing at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border.
