Bryan Adams cancels Minsk concert but comes to Riga?

People are getting ticket refunds after the cancellation of Bryan Adams’ concert in Minsk. It was supposed to be given on March 26. Officially, the concert was cancelled due to logistic and organization issues, the musician reported on Facebook. However, Adams’ fans can go to his concert in Riga or Kaunas. There are no ‘technical issues’ in these cities. Tickets are selling well in Kaunas and the organizers expect about 10 thousand viewers.

The ‘logistic’ issues that made Bryan Adams refuse from the concert in Minsk were decisive, promoter and representative of Medusa Concert Remigius Knabikas thinks. The musician’s managers were probably worried about the lack of time during the trip from Riga to Minsk and about the border: they did not know how long the musician and his team would have to wait.

“They probably thought that the trip was risky and that they did not have enough time to set up a stage in Minsk. That is why they decided to postpone the concert and have a day-off,” Remigius thinks. To solve the ‘logistic’ issue, the concert in Riga started an hour earlier, the promoter said.

The organizer of the concert in Minsk (Atom Entertainment) is negotiating with the musician’s representatives now, Euroradio has found out. “The concert is likely to be given in a year,” Atom Entertainment said.
