Alyaksandr Hleb: We should have beaten Finland in both games
Belarus soccer star Alex Hleb insists poor finishing is to blame for the improbable defeat in Finland and the draw at home.
The footballer told Pressball: "We had to get 6 points. We should have defeated Finns in both matches. But finishing was very poor. The moments we created should have been properly used. We didn’t get a 100% penalty shot either."
Belarus's World Cup 2014 qualifier against Finland on June 13 ended in a draw. The team lost their first leg game in Helsinki 0:1 several days earlier. Belarus lies in the bootom of their group with four points .
