This time around, Hurkou defeated Calado 29-28 at the 10th World Games in the Polish city of Wroclaw, reports Tut.by.

Remarkably, the Portugese won Hurkou in May with the same score.

The victory set Vital Hurkou for a 75kg semi-final against Troy Johns from USA.

Apart from Hurkou, 5 more boxers represent Belarus at the World Games in Wroclaw. The tournament is held every four years - next year after the Olympic Games. Athletes compete in sports that are not part of the Olympic Games program.
