Besides the entrepreneurs’ action, another protest action was organized in Minsk on March 14. Several dozen employees of the company Luck-Plus picketed the building of Minsk City Executive Committee.
They spent 10 years building the shopping centre Impulse. According to their contract, they had to receive market stalls there but they got nothing, the company representatives say.
The contract was annulled as soon as the complex was finished and Luck-Plus disappeared from the project, employee Iryna said. The company has been trying to appeal the decision in court since 2013. They have been to all the court instances. Even the Supreme Court decided to cancel the contract. 160 people got nothing for their pains, Iryna said.
The company employees sent protest letters to Minsk City Executive Committee. Then they joined the entrepreneurs’ protest action.
