Warehouse burns down at Salihorsk-based 'Belaruskali'

A warehouse was on fire in the Salihorsk 'Belaruskali'. The fire occurred on the night of Sunday, May 22, in the warehouse #6 of the granular concentrate and reloading hub at the ground of the 1st Mining Administration. There was granulated potassium chloride kept at the warehouse.

There were 2 employees in the building at the time of the fire who independently left the building and were not injured. The fire was completely eliminated after 5 am.

According to Emergency Situations Ministry press service, the loading at this warehouse was suspended, the enterprise is operating normally. There were 23 units of equipment and 69 emergency workers used to eleminate fire. Currently the cause of fire and material damage are under investigation.
