Volha Mikalaichyk hoisted a white-red-white flat near the Red Catholic Church in Minsk, Radio Liberty reports. The activist marked the anniversary of the Square-2010 that way. However, Volha was detained soon afterwards.
Volha Mikalaichyk is a documentary producer and the author of such films as Torture in Belarus and Travel in Eternal War. Her films about political prisoners have been demonstrated at international festivals many times.
