The Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs is paying an official visit to New York. Uladzimir Makei is participating in the 71st session of the UN General Assembly there. The session began on September 13. Makei took part in the festive opening of the General Debate ‘The Sustainable Development Goals: a universal push to transform our world’ on September 20.
Uladzimir Makei’s photo with American President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle was published on the Belarusian mission’s Twitter on September 21.
