Ukrainian troops leave Lugansk airport
ATO soldiers have been ordered to leave Lugansk airport, representative of the press service of the National Security Service Andrei Lysenko said.
Judging by the attacks on the airport, professional soldiers are using artillery systems to shoot at the airport, he said.
1500 Ukrainian soldiers tried to retake Lugansk airport and were surrounded by militants on the evening of August 31, UNIAN reported. Ukrainian paratroopers kept fighting a reinforced tank battalion of the Russian Army for Lugansk airport this morning.
