Solar eclipse (online)

The biggest solar eclipse in 16 years will start today, on March 20. A full eclipse will be seen in the north of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Arctic. Belarusians will see a 70% eclipse. The eclipse will start in Minsk at 11 hours 57 minutes 48 seconds. It will reach the maximum at 13 hours 6 minutes 33 seconds and finish at 14 hours 15 minutes 43 seconds.

The eclipse will last for about 3 minutes. It will be possible to see Venus with the naked eye. The next similar solar eclipse is expected in 2033.
