Serena Willaims wins WTA finals for fifth time
The American player has won the WTA finals held in Singapore on October 20-26.
The World No. 1 defeated Romanian Simona Halep in two sets in the finals –6:3, 6:0, AFP reports. By the way, Serena lost to the Romanian in the group stage earlier (0:6, 2:6).
Williams won the finals for the fifth time in her career and has caught up with legendary German tennis player Steffi Graf.
