Russian authorities to eliminate banned goods all over the country

The Russian authorities have decided to eliminate banned European goods all over the country (instead of doing it only at the border). The order applied to the Federal Customs Service, the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate and the Russian Consumer Inspectorate, kommersant.ru reports. It means that their representatives will be able to eliminate banned goods even if they get to shops.

The Russian Consumer Inspectorate will check retailers’ warehouses. Multistores are saying that they have already sold all banned goods.

The Russian government allowed eliminating all banned goods ‘in any possible way’ on July 31. The process must be witnessed by two people and filmed.
