Belarus-Latvia small cross-border movement launched today
The first visa-free entrance permits will be given out by consulates on February 1.

BelTA informs that the Latvian Consulate in Vitsebsk has already received the lists of inhabitants of border territories of the province wishing to use the opportunity of simplified border crossing. There are about 200 people on the lists. And there are 4 thousand people on the Latvian list. It is bigger because such cities as Daugavpils and Krāslava are situated in the border zone.
The lists will be updated once in three months.
