OSCE: Belarusian trucks cross Russia-‘DPR’ border

Several dozen Belarusian trucks have crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border at the check-points Gukovo and Donetsk, the OSCE observation mission reported on July 7.

A great number of trucks are crossing the border in both directions, observers report. Coal is getting transported from Lugansk Oblast to Russia by dump trucks. Goods are being transported in both directions.

The majority of cars are registered in Lugansk Oblast but OSCE observers have also noticed trucks with Belarusian and Russian number plates.

The number of Belarusian trucks has reduced from 48 to 38 within a week. The trucks crossed the border in both directions.

It is not clear what was transported in the Belarusian trucks and who their owner is.

The check-points Gukovo and Donetsk are situated in the border area that is not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
