Only class taught in Belarusian disappears in Baranavichy

Given the end of primary school #14 and change of residence, children's parents tried to have their children continue their education in Belarusian at the 5th form of school #4. However, the attempts turned out unsuccessful, reports human rights portal Vyasna

First, parents were told that the high school had no financial capacity to open a Belarusian-language class. Then they were asked to provide a written consent of at least 24 parents of pupils in the class.

The parents appealed to the city administration to save the only Belarusian-language class. The city authorities did not support the idea.
